It is designed to provide experienced facilitators with the background information, materials, instructions and tips necessary to effectively facilitate abortion values clarification and attitude transformation (VCAT) interventions. There are also activities and materials to conduct a workshop to help experienced trainers increase their skills in facilitating abortion VCAT training events.

This toolkit is designed to be a flexible resource that can serve training needs for a variety of audiences and settings. It is not a structured curriculum, but rather a collection of activities and materials that can be used individually or in combination, based on the timing and agenda of individual workshops.

This toolkit, originally developed for Ipas staff and community partners working to reduce abortion stigma and increase access to safe abortion, is designed for use with the staff or members of community-based organizations (CBOs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), community health workers and/or community members with a range of education and literacy levels. The activities are designed to be easily adapted to fit different settings and contexts and to be led by trained facilitators who may be CBO or NGO staff or members, community health workers, or individual trainers or activists.

This toolkit is a resource for organizations that want to build a disability inclusion mindset among staff and partners who design and implement abortion and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) programming. It is written specifically for facilitators trained in values clarification and attitude transformation in the field of abortion and SRHR
